The squadron has a substantial number of operational expenses that it needs to cover to remain operational.

The squadron is assessed $75 for every cadet “on strength” (based on the numbers from the end of March of the previous year) to cover the costs of administering the program and the regional and national levels.

Although it is not a requirement, it is asked that parents donate $75 each year to at least defer these costs. This helps to reduce the burden on the other fund raising activities throughout the year and is a very small price to pay for the wealth of opportunities provided to your child.

Donations may be made on-line or at the canteen on any Wed evening. Alternatively, you could donate directly to the squadron via United Way (although there are substantial delays before the squadron receives those payments and a percentage is lost to administration fees).

As a charitable organization, tax receipts for these donations are available.
