This parade commemorates all of the Canadian firefighters (over 1000) who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

This parade is held in downtown Ottawa every Sept and has a large representation by Air Cadets as well as from many other organizations.

This parade is open to the public and family members are invited to come. This parade is held in early September and usually starts at the Supreme Court and ends at the Fire Fighter’s Memorial on Laurier.

Although not a required activity, participation is encouraged and counts towards high school community hours.
