There are various forms of communication utilized within the squadron to communicate upcoming events:

• Flight Time – every training night
• Final Parade – end of every training night
• Handouts – end of training night as applicable
• Automated calling system – auto dials each cadet’s number to spread important news
• Web Site – cadets are expected to check this web site daily as it is frequently updated
• Standing Orders – rules and regulations that each cadet is expected to know (on web site)
• Routine Orders – notifications that are updated weekly (on web site)
• Email list - parents must subscribe to the Sponsoring Committee mailing list if they wish to receive automatic notifications from the Sponsoring Committee

Cadets are expected to keep their parents informed, however, it is strongly advised for the parents to regularly check the web site as well and to read any handouts that are sent home. Take particular note of the planning calendar as it has most of the activities for the year populated before the year even starts. If your child is signed up for an event, their name will be published on the web site as a reminder.

Parents are also invited to become involved

• come in at the end of the night to see final parade
• come out to major events
• get to know the staff
• get to know the Sponsoring Committee
• volunteer in one or more of the many activities operated by the Sponsoring Committee
• become an active member of the Sponsoring Committee.
